My New Baby

My hubby is the greatest. I am soooo spoiled. He got me a new phone last night. It is a Verizon Storm. I can even watch movies on my phone. How cool is that? I can text, talk, email, while away my hours on this thing. I also have a full IPOD and it comes with an 8GB SD card. It's a Crackberry. We are still slowly getting ready for DH's deployment. He is at ILE right now. I just had surgery Tues. The recovery is slow. I am hating not being able to do anything. My great MIL is here. We went shopping yesterday. I will try to post new pages soon. Pain meds are wearing off so I am going to have to go.

Update on Life

I know it has been forever since I wrote anything here. Let's see here, since I last wrote, my mother's foster mom, my MawMaw died. I got a tattoo the next day in memory of her. Also, we found out Charles is getting deployed Jan. 2 so we are trying to make the most of our time together. We are planning a trip somewhere this summer, where is still up for debate. We have made a list. I will post it here soon. We have a new dog coming in for rescue, another Collie. She was abused in Louisiana. All they know about her is that two boys were seen dragging her into an abandoned lot across from a housing project and she was left there. She has a fracture on her front leg so she is in a cast. I will try to get back on the ball and post some layouts and update more often. No promises though. Yayy! He really does love me

Haha, my wonderful( insert any other adjectives for great) husband. Tonight we went on a date. The first one in a year since our anniversary/ honeymoon. Read previous post to understand that one. Anyways, tonight a friend took Freya for a few hours since she is feeling a lot better, and it has only been a few days since he has been home. We went to dinner at Lone Star Steakhouse. Then we went to the mall and got Charles a suit. Of course, I had to get some coffee. Then he tells me we have to go. We leave and go to Office Depot. I am standing outside and he comes out and says Come on, we have to go before another store closes. We get in his new truck he bought recently and go to Best Buy. Uh oh, I am in Geek Paradise!!!! By the time we leave, $300 lighter, he and I both have new 1TB externals. Have I mentioned, I REALLY love my husband? He definitely knows the way to my heart! Can we say DOWNLOAD BABY!!! Neglect

To those of you who actually read this, I want to apologize. I have been derelict in my duties as a Blogger. I am going to try to post more. We will see, huh. Life has just kind of gotten in the way. Hmm, a bit of catch up. My husband and I are finally living together again after 3 yrs. That is why we moved to Hattiesburg. We had been doing the weekend thing for a while but it was getting old. Now we are doing a lot better. Right now, he is in Hawaii. He will be home on Saturday, yayy. He has been gone since the 8th. He has finally reached his 20. In Feb, the anniversary of our legal marriage, we went back to Gatlinburg where we had our honeymoon, and we renewed our vows. I say legal marriage because we had a commitment ceremony back in May 2004 before our daughter was born that we count as our anniversary. Last Feb was just finally getting all the paperwork in order. There will be pictures of that to follow. We are talking about buying a house up there when he retires next year. Then he wants to go to work for the railroad. (insert I've Been Working On the Railroad music here) haha. Freya is delighted to have Daddy home every night. Of course, I am delighted to have a husband instead of a weekend boyfriend now. I took Freya to the Dr today. He told me she is having bronchial spasms, hence my being up at 1AM. She is finally asleep in my bed and I think I am going to join her. I think I am going to cry next week, she is going to start preschool. More to come later. Goodnite
